On the savory side, Sweet Notes features a lunch menu to accompany their sweetness. The menu also includes loaded baked potatoes, with choices such as buffalo ranch, barbecue chicken, barbecue pork, broccoli and cheese, and a build-your-own options again. All meats are slow cooked in an outdoor smoker by Ryan, ensuring maximum freshness for the patrons.

Loaded nachos and loaded baked potatoes are also available- Among other hearty items!

Again, all food at Sweet Notes is prepared with gluten-free ingredients. A gluten-free diet is a medically recognized treatment for conditions such as celiac disease and others whom have been diagnosed with gluten sensitivities. Gluten is a natural biological substance found in wheat, barley and rye, but is often associated with processed foods, which can contribute to perceptions of unhealthiness. For those with susceptibilities, removing gluten has been proven to reduce bloating and water retention. Celiac disease is typically hereditary but can also be diagnosed in individuals with diabetes or down syndrome.

Sweet Notes is family-owned by Hannah and Ryan Snoddy. The couple resides in Fountain City with their children, Kyran (15) and Camden (2). They are familiar with the area and have many friends in the community. Among their supporters are Randy and Vicki Pollitt of neighboring Pollitt’s Pitstop, who also were the restaurant’s first customers last week when they initially opened to family and friends. Jokingly, Ryan describes the husband and wife duo as “Hannah being the sweet side of things and me (Ryan) being the savory side.” The venture began as a hobby at home that grew with requests from family and friends, leading into the Snoddy’s opening their new business.
