Stringers is a restaurant / bait and tackle shop that has recently opened replacing “The Triangle” on Old Dunlapsville Road, nearby Brookville Lake and Quakertown Ramp. (Google Maps)

Stringers has a fresh menu featuring signature items, alongside improved tackle supplies, expert advice for fishing, seasonal fishing tournaments and boat storage. Under new ambitious leadership, Stringers promises to enhance your lake experience. The revitalized location aims to become a hub for both food lovers and outdoor adventurers.

Stringers has a wide selection of merchandise. They are sure to have everything needed for an angler visiting Brookville Lake.

One standout item from the restaurant is the Stringers Signature Blend. It is most deliciously added to nachos, potato skins and pizza. According to the owners, their pizza is the best seller but the signature blend nachos are a close second. Personally, I had to try the nachos, after hearing the hype… They were very good, and the blend was a nice touch. Plus, you are given a large portion, so its very filling.

Their menu also contains pizzas (all toppings, chicken bacon ranch, BBQ chicken), sub sandwiches, potato skins, wings (hot buffalo, BBQ and sweet red chili sauce), garlic bread sticks, and Keto friendly options (build your own pizza bowl).

Short and long term boat storage is available with digital access and upgraded security.

Stringers rests on three acres of property. A majority of the area is dedicated to boat storage. Being within walking distance of the Brookville Lake, this is an ideal spot for out-of-towners looking for storage during the season or over the winter. First thing, Stringers upgraded the security system, adding twenty new cameras, along with a RFID system for people to scan and access the boatyard at their convenience.

According to the owners, one of the store’s most popular items is their Sportsman bait and tackle vending machine located beside the entrance. This offers an assortment of supplies, 24/7, with an easy-to-use, temperature-controlled machine. Freshness is guaranteed.

Stringers is owned by Curt and Shannon Webb. This husband and wife team have been married for 35 years and live between Boston and New Paris. The Webbs have always been avid lake-goers, garnering plenty of local friends and support in the area. Following a heart attack a few years ago, Curt is semi-retired. Opening a restaurant on Brookville Lake has always been a dream of theirs- Now, they are ready to go all-in and make this place the best it can be!

“We want to take it to the next level,” Curt explained. “People coming in are telling us that it has never looked so good. We want to keep that momentum going.”

Down the road, The Webbs plan to add a bar to the back of the shop and expand the outdoor seating area. Curt emphasized the need to grow the business and he is eager for the opportunity to serve a full bar to patrons fishing or visiting Quakertown Beach.
