Recently, there was a significant change in administration at the Union County School Corp. (UCSC).

Multiple Sources from UCSC have confirmed that local School Superintendent, John Edge, has been placed on administrative leave. Sources have also confirmed that the school’s athletic director has been absent from sporting events as well at the absence of another office administrator within the superintendent’s office. At a regular school board meeting on Monday May 19, 2025, it was noted by the public that Randy Judd, high school principal, was seated in the school superintendent’s chair prompting speculation about the absence of Edge.
