COLLEGE CORNER — Hometown Eatery is kicking off the new year with expanded hours and a refreshed menu. This locally loved diner is now open six days a week and offers dinner service Wednesday through Friday until 7 p.m.
The restaurant’s new menu features classic American diner fare, including breakfast favorites such as omelets and waffles; burgers like the “Home Boy” and “Steakhouse Burger”; chicken dishes—including strips and salads—as well as sandwiches and wraps. Hometown Eatery also offers daily specials, weekly Italian nights, and options for online ordering through Uber Eats.
In addition to Italian night dinners, new offerings include daily family specials featuring your choice of four assorted sandwiches, a wing basket with fries, and breakfast served all day. Takeout orders are encouraged, customers can call (765) 253-1052.

“Our first Italian night supper was a blast — we had a full house,” said owner and operator Angie Hunter. “We should have done this a long time ago,” she laughed.
Angie has been running Hometown Eatery since September 2022, working alongside her daughter, Skyler Faber and Barb Menke, who makes all of the restaurant’s savory homemade pies. Hunter worked under the previous two owners before taking over the business.
“If you’re from Liberty and you’ve never tried Hometown Eatery, now is the perfect time,” Angie added. “We would love to see new faces and families come together, and enjoy the restaurant!”

Hometown Eatery is located at 700 Liberty Ave. in West College Corner. Its hours are Monday from 7am to 1pm, closed Tuesdays; Wednesday from 11am to 7pm; Thursday from 7am to 7pm; Friday from 7am to 7:30 pm; Saturday from 7am to 2pm; and Sunday from 9am to 2pm.
