EnJoy Fitness Club (EFC) is making its official debut in the community with a grand opening scheduled for June 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. These young, ambitious entrepreneurs have transformed the former On Track Fitness location beside Miles-Richmond into a state-of-the-art wellness destination. This exciting new gym promises more than just fitness — it offers a holistic approach to health with a cutting-edge recovery room featuring a sauna, acupuncture station, and massage chair, unveiling at the grand opening. Designed to help members relax and rejuvenate, this wellness and recovery space ensures that fitness will always be a joy-ful experience.
Most notably, EFC has restarted group fitness classes and is offering memberships that include 24/7 access to its Liberty and Connersville locations. Both locations have been remodeled and upgraded with new machines, improved layouts, and lower membership rates. According to the owners, they’ve been receiving positive feedback from gym-goers and want to keep that momentum moving forward. EFC aims to make fitness more accessible and albeit more enjoyable for everyone. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced athlete, the club is designed to be inclusive and accommodating for individuals of all abilities.

Members can enjoy open gym spaces, classroom studios, and a variety of fitness classes such as Zumba, spin, bootcamp, and Silver Sneakers. The club plans to introduce even more classes in the future, providing members with a diverse array of options to stay motivated and engaged in their fitness journeys.
In addition to group classes and open gym access, EFC offers personalized training options, including online coaching, tailored workout and nutrition plans, and one-on-one sessions with certified trainers. Members can also purchase premium supplements from leading brands such as Sportlife. Sportlife oversees supplement brands like C4, Premier Protein, Ryse, and more.
EFC is located at 221 S Main St. Suite 2, Liberty. The gym’s office is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For additional membership information, give them call anytime (765) 338-2068.

The Liberty location of EFC has been under the leadership of Alex Edwards since it opened in mid-February. The club was founded in September 2023 by Alex and Brennan Joy in Connersville. Alex is a former employee of Reid HealthWorks, which closed in 2023. Not wanting to giveup on his passion for fitness, he established EFC with Brennan to continue serving the community and help others achieve their health goals.
“EnJoy Fitness caters to all ages. I have clients from middle school age to people in their 90s,” Alex described. “There is a clear need for fitness in the community, and we’re here to help!”
Following his recovery from a spinal injury in 2016, Alex weighed over 250 lbs. and began a determined weight-loss journey that would change his life. Through dedication and hard work, he not only shed significant weight (82 lbs.) but also achieved top-five placements in state-wide bodybuilding competitions. His inspiring story exemplifies the transformative power of exercise and dedication to health.

Alex’s wife, Zowie, who recently married him in March, plays a vital role behind the scenes at the gym. You will often see her working at the front desk, greeting members and creating a friendly atmosphere. Before meeting Alex, Zowie wasn’t particularly interested in fitness, but working out with her husband sparked a new passion for health and exercise. The couple resides in Connersville.
