The annual Whitewater Valley Ducks Unlimited Fundraiser (WVDU) banquet was held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Brookville American Legion Post 77. This year’s event was another one for the books. The group raised over $34,000 at the fundraiser through a silent auction, live auction, several raffles, and games. A meal of pork chops, au gratin potatoes, green beans, rolls, cookies, iced tea, lemonade, beer and wine was all served by the American Legion Auxiliary 77.

WVDU honored a long-standing wetlands supporter named Harold Edington. Edington is the owner of Concrete Coring in Cincinnati. Since 1989, he has been a major contributor to the organization. At 98 years old, his presence was a blessing this year, and the organizers honored him with their Legacy Award. “Thanks Unlimited, Harold!” praised the Ducks.
