Raise Bucks For Ducks! Last call for the Whitewater Valley Ducks Unlimited fundraising banquet! It will be this Saturday, April 12, at the Brookville American Legion Post 77. They will have a great night of live and silent auctions, games, and raffles in support of wetland conservation and wildlife preservation.

Tickets and sponsorships are available online at whitewatervalleydu.com. The doors will open at 5pm, and dinner and drinks are included in the price.

The auction event has a beautiful collection of duck orientated decorations and keepsakes to choose from.

In 2024, Indiana raised over $2 million toward preservation, and they are on track to raise even more this year! According to the organizers, attendees always have a good time. The fundraiser feels more like a community gathering than an auction. For more club information, visit the Whitewater Valley Ducks Unlimited Facebook page.

Brief History: In 1936, the groundwork for Ducks Unlimited was laid among friends inside of a hunting cabin at Mackay Island National Wildlife Refuge in North Carolina. In January 1937, the idea evolved into an incorporated nonprofit and their first office was established in Memphis, TN.

Locally, The Whitewater Valley chapter has been hosting this charity auction and dinner for that past 43 years. From these efforts, Ducks Unlimited has raised enough money to conserve thousands of acres of wetlands across Indiana!

For Saturday’s event, a limited number of tickets will be available at the door. To guarantee your spot, buy your ticket online, today (Buy Ticket). All are welcome to attend this public event. According to organizers, Ducks Unlimited could always use new Hoosiers to support this worthwhile cause.

The Ducks Unlimited live auction is professionally run by Campbell’s Auction Team from Liberty!
