The Doctor’s Inn was built in 1878 and remodeled in 2017. Nestled on the Ohio border, historically, it once served as a home/office for two small-town Hoosier doctors. Nowadays, visitors can enjoy their favorite modern-day conveniences while being pampered in this charming Victorian home.

Relax and read a book in the cozy nook; or, you can play a family game in the parlor. During sunset, relax on the outdoor deck that overlooks the courtyard; or, sip coffee with the sunrise, sitting inside an enclosed porch with heat. About the owners Married for almost 20 years, Charlotte and Jay Barden lived across the street from the Doctor’s Inn while raising their family. They dreamed of one day owning this fabulous home. In September of 2021, their dreams came to fruition. Moving forward, The Bardens hope to build upon the legacy of the previous owners while making the inn their own. They are eager to share this place of welcome with old friends and new.
