Accents & Shears:

Offering dozens of ways to celebrate Moms! (Or grads. Or yourself!)

Accents delivers locally as well as Oxford, Brookville, Richmond, Connersville.

I popped in Accents to check out their gift selection and was AMAZED! If you haven’t been in, this is a great time of year to go gift-shopping. We have Mother’s Day coming up this weekend, and graduations galore to celebrate. Weddings, birthdays, even just a random Tuesday are easy to celebrate here.

Owner Marla Klein has been in business for 35 years! Once she took her hair business into the floral and gift shop business as well, it’s been a full and busy few decades. Accents offers so many gift options, including garden signs and items, home decor, a wall of smell-good candles, these adorable little gnomes with happy messages, frames, jewelry, dishes, drink-ware, you name it. I could have spent hours in the little shop, which is full of day-brightening gifts to choose from.

Visit the Accents website, libertyflowershop.com. Make your Mother’s Day order online!

There’s even an entire room of sympathy gifts, and at the holidays the whole store becomes a Christmas shop. My personal favorite were the candy bouquets… I can’t think of an occasion they don’t suit!

Attached to the gift and floral shops is Shears where Marla was doing someone’s hair while we spoke. She has loyal and faithful customers, and has for years, but is always willing to take new customers in her hair salon. They’ve even added tanning beds! So if treating yourself sounds like the best gift, here’s your spot to do that too. Tanning bed prices start at 100 minutes for $35, with a walk-in cost of only $8.00 and a 15 minute maximum.

So stop by Accents today and support this hard working local team that continues to bring joy to people through good times and bad. You will definitely find what you’re looking for…and probably several more things you didn’t know you needed!
